This is the rainbow that Jimmy Beunardeau saw at Guandu this PM. It was strong and got stronger as we ran towards it. But I probably shouldn’t have been shooting it WHILE running and handholding a phone. Oh, well. Gotta make the cutoff of 50 minutes. Really no time to stop… and admire.
The Marie Claire Run claim is that it was a 4K … that I can do before cutoff. But my watch measured it at 4.47KM. 11.7% more which put me right at the cutoff edge: 48:00 mins +/-10s.
My previous 4K was run in 48 minutes at exactly 4K but the night temps were much more comfortable. Aiyo! But I made it. I shot most of my shots while running. 2 minutes doesn’t give you much leeway.
