You may have wondered why there has been no coffee newsletter in June. I was planning and had half-written a Father’s Day posting, but alas! Just days before, my own father passed away.
So I have been travelling a long way, and keeping my mother company while we both said our goodbyes to an important person in our lives. As you can imagine there has been a lot of travelling, a lot of talking, and lots of arranging things.
I spoke to my father a while ago, and I had no idea it would be the last time I’d hear a little joke from him. If I may, remember your father a little, wherever he is and give thanks. If you can, buy him a little present, enjoy his stories, and share a little time with him, too.
