Well, I managed to do another 2K run, with a time close to 10m/k. It’s not encouraging when the app calls it a fast walk!!! Oh, well, I dgaf. I’m gonna keep doing 10K until I’m able to do 9:30. Then I’ll do 9:30 until I’m able to do 9:00. That’s the way it works.

I nixed the Zepp app on my Ipad. It was becoming unreliable. I’m now using it on my phone. I HATE the color scheme. It doesn’t match anything, looks garish and much of the new functionality isn’t oc available for my jurassic period watch. That’s okay.

It did simplify things so far as to make nixing Google Fit almost viable, if I wear a watch. That’s something I don’t like to do. It also turned up another gem: calories burned. It tracks it in big bold numbers. NICE. That might be the one useful thing I can check daily. I did set out to burn 700 calories a day. That number might help.

I did try the sport equipment downstairs in the courtyard. Yes we have some weird machines that look like cartoon versions of your club equipment. I’m a bit intimidated by them but I tried out five of them, not the monkey bars or bench. But the others seemed variously helpful. I might do 1 rep on each of them daily. Good news, good news!
