The weather took a nasty turn last Saturday. Temps plummeted to 11~13C islandwide, in the first real test of winter. It’s pretty typical of this season’s weather, though to be honest, it’s been a bit dryer than I remember in past years.
After last Saturday’s run, I headed out on the bike in the evening and on Sunday around Tainan City. It was quite a blast in the cold. But enjoyable. On our return to Taipei in the evening, we slept soundly. I tried to get up on Tuesday to go for a run, but by the afternoon the weather had turned wet. Same on Wednesday. Thursday wasn’t much better motivation wise. Still on Friday, I recovered some mojo and biked a bit.
So with better weather tonight (ie. no wind or rain) and a flat run. It seems I’m running better. Even despite the wobble at the start, when the AmazFit decided I was running in the ocean. I walked 500m, how is it possible that I recorded a time of 9m. 2nd k was probably more accurate, and typical. Just over 10 minutes.
