Some random thoughts: don’t know if anything will help. In our world, two things succeed: mass market and art market. One because of mass sales at low cost, the other is the exact reverse. If you are positioned in the middle, you will have advantages of neither and the disadvantages of both. So, fwiw,
… my first reaction was that I thought your prices were too cheap. I also thought that you could add significant value by shipping completed ready-to-hang items. Obviously, this is tricky due to shipping. But hey, it’s expensive art. So it should be worth it, esp. if you limit your shipping.
… T noted that you had limited print-runs so really this scarcity should add value. And when they see the ‘higher’ sticker prices on your art work, they might feel that your art is more valuable, encouraging them to see your work in a different light.
… You’ve already sold successfully, and the people are buying. This is a good thing. In fact, it suggests that you already have a word of mouth reputation. It might be good if you could reach previous customers with a 10% off (of higher prices) coupon to see if they will buy again. Personal outreach might be valuable in this regard, so… Dear ***, I noted that you bought x piece and you left me a great review. I thought you might like to know about some of my recent work, too. Best Wishes, *
… you have an IG audience, why not run a store independently through IG? You’re not restricted to selling on Etsy, are you? You already have a big audience. If you converted even 1% of your IG followers, that’s 20 sales!
… Also, just start a simple mailing list with your latest work (and a coupon?) linked to your profiles. That can be a good feedback cycle to establish after all no artist wants to believe their art is “less” valuable, right?
… I noticed that your location is set to Austria. If German is your mother language, then it might make sense to target the German speaking markets in Europe (Austria, Germany, etc) rather than the English speaking markets, though perhaps that doesn’t jibe with your sense of mission in your art work. It might suit an in-person outreach, though. Though the UK is the biggest English speaking market in Europe, … I’d wager that many English speakers in Europe would be far more approachable in their mother language. Of course.
… which kinda brings me to my last point. Would it cost a lot to make a single series of images (20?) for display as art in a coffee shop or small museum for sale? Would it be possible to find a venue nearby? You could charge a lot more for your finished, lmited-edition pieces and share the revenue with the venue. You could even promise to give 10% to a charity you felt empathy for.
Dunno. Wishing you luck and many high value sales!
