Tonight’s jog was very broken up. I ran 1.78K then had to stop. The run was interrupted by fallen trees. So I turned back and finished the run only to discover that Google Fit had miscounted the 2K as ONLY 1.8K.
So then I ran another 1K, and another 2K before walking another 1K. Finally I rode back to Zhuwei on the bike 2.2K. So that was 65m for 5.8K. Considering I came and changed clothes first… it’s not too bad but aiyo! very frustrating.
First issue: downed trees and bushes everywhere meant closed routes, doubling back and treading carefully.
Second issue: forgetting my watch as Google Fit isn’t particularly accurate in its assessment of distance. Is that due to GPS issues?
The only plus: wow! it’s really nice and cool. And yay! I can do 5K without killing myself in less than an hour. I’m still planning 6, 7 and 8k routes.
