I managed to do some but I had just got a bike and ridden it for 3minutes when the heavens opened. No, it wasn’t the 2nd coming coming (or even the first) but the rain was surprisingly heavy. I returned the bike pronto. There is nothing like riding when it’s raining heavily! Everything gets drenched.
I did take a brolly, but I can’t ride a bike holding a brolly. It’s too dangerous on wet roads, but I see lots of people doing that!
Irony is if I’d not returned the bike early, I could’ve got to shelter so much faster!!! Anyways, I took shelter in the park and waited 10 minutes. Then it was off. Like someone remembered they’d left the faucet running.
I felt silly for returning the bike so soon. But everything was soaking wet! Walked back to Zhuwei, where it was dry.
The typhoon is definitely affecting the weather.
