At day 78, I recorded 84.0kgs as my finishing weight. Well, I made it this far.

So what are the plans?

We’re on holiday for a few days from tomorrow. I won’t be able to stick to my lifestyle choices religiously. But I’ll try to: eat well, sleep well, exercise well. And if I don’t put on 1kg, I’ll be thankful.

Today Saturday, the scales are showing 83.2kgs. I’m not sure why but could it be water loss – I did experience a mild heatstroke when I went up town? They have a tendency to be about 5~600g wrong when numbers like this appear. It fortunately doesn’t matter that much because I track the averages in several ways, too, so these outlier numbers usually have no impact on weekly totals. One day changes don’t represent the true underlying situation, no matter how good or bad they are.

One trend that has been evident is shown in the following graph. The brown line represents calories burned total as represented as weight. So think 32,972 excess calories divided by 7,700 calories per kg. Comes out to 4.28kgs which just shy of my current weight average of 84.0kgs.

Typically this number has trailed the average weight (over 5 days) but a couple of days ago, the number turned positive. Black line trailed above brown line. So as you see from the start of the chart, that was the only other time it was positive. Does this mean anything? Does it indicate more weightloss ahead? Here is the same chart from last year’s 5.5kg loss.

Yeah. Well. It’s looking like I’ve reached my initial goal of 83.5kg according to today’s numbers. I’ll refrain from any announcements on FB until the trend is confirmed!!!
