So I finished week 9 at 84.5kgs. Week 9 was a bit of a washout in terms of weight loss.

But that’s okay. I’m tired. At day 64… I think I’ve done all I can do right now. We’re going on holiday in a couple of weeks… and I need a rest, sleep, and a change of focus to keep my sanity. I’ll probably switch back to walking and photography for a mental break.

At day 63, I recorded 84.5kgs as my finishing weight, it’s been pretty stable for the past 2 weeks. I don’t think I can achieve much more right now with the weather being so hot, me being so tired, and it being so late in the program.

So I think until August, I’m on a diet holiday! Yay!

The numbers tell the story, too. All the averages are now pointing down. In short, I’ve lost my edge for now. What this means, is of course: Time to go back to maintenance diet/habits.

How?

Well, maintenance of good habits, less pressure on exercise but still doing a lot, and avoiding some of the bad habits that crimped my style. I’m now 3.6kgs away from my 2024 goal. That is freaking incredible!

People say the nicest things, too. Neighbors have noticed. Students have noticed. Friends have noticed. In fact, Kenny probably paid the biggest compliment.

So what are the plans?

Well, I’m now thinking it’s time to dust off the work-out clothes and jogging equipment. But how do I start? I think probably doing some specific exercises like one a day stretches, then two a day. I found that I enjoyed doing the Soleus muscle stretches and it wasn’t onerous to include them in my day.
