Step 1: Click on Toggle Block Inserter

Step 2: Click on Patterns

Step 3: Choose your pattern

Step 4: Insert your pattern

I added my BMI Pattern that I’d made a while ago. I then hit ‘publish’! And boom! You can check it out for yourself.
Currently, there is no way to insert a pattern natively into the sidebar! Why! Probably because it hasn’t been implemented yet. But blocks are possible. So… is it just a matter of time or do users not get to do that?
Ok. Turns out there is a special block for that created by MaxMegaMenu: called Reusable Block MMM. I installed it here and didn’t tweak anything else as a test, voila! That BMI pattern is now in my sidebar! Is it working? You can test it for yourself.
