There is however an ‘a’ in 1,000 (US English) and an ‘a’ in 101 (UK English). The jury is still out on 0.1 however some people claim they were taught to use it denote a fraction or decimal. So technically you’d only ever need to count to the 0 and an 1/(100^n) where n represents any number upto infinity.
