I wrote this in 2016. Since then we’ve had the Gutter Oil scandal, the coffee scandal, the Costco import recalls, … and now Sudan Red food scandal. How much of the food supply is problematic?
Another food scam. Scammer supplies expired food products to C**P, which then ships manufactured products to well-known retailers. Disgusting. And what responsibility does C**P have? Perhaps it’s time to boycott these manufacturers, too.
Have they forgotten ‘caveat emptor’? What you buy is also your responsibility? You can’t just buy crap at a cheap price, then sell it on and claim you were taken advantage of. You know the price is less than the typical market, you know the vendor is untested, you know that the deal focused on ‘cost down’ principles… didn’t you bother to check properly? Of course.
