Technology can be sobering. Or rather the facility with which young kids do stuff! Last week one of my students opened up the world of Bluetooth to me on my new handset. She sent me a cartoon picture from her handset to mine via Bluetooth. I guess for most techies this is an everyday affair. For me, it wasn’t.
It was like magic just to see the images arrive on my cellphone through the ether. Amazing. No wires needed. Ah! That world would indeed be wonderful. Imagine ripping up all those ugly cables running around your office or living room.
I’m now considering getting some kind of Bluetooth headset for my mobile. That would ease the cable issue in my rather cramped bag. The headset could safely be left at home. Pity they’re so ugly. The Bluetooth Stereo Headsets might be bearably ugly.
