Like me, many photogs stored their images on a spinning drive with large capacity, synced to Dropbox, while keeping their catalog on the SSD drive(s) for speedier use.

Many photographers’ workflows were stymied when Apple changed its policy on allowing syncing via external disks on Icloud/Dropbox/Drive/etc, and locked users from doing this.

I had been planning to buy an M2/M3 with 1TB SSD and 16GB Ram up until the announcement. Now I’m considering just buying a completely new PC on Windoze.

I’ve been wondering, since I’m still a PC user and can do this, whether you’ve found a workround or not on Mac systems.

How has this policy change on Mac affected your workflow? Have you found a successful workaround (other than buying an 4TB mac or bigger!)? Thanks
