I was underestimating my height. I’m closer to 177cm than 173cm! In fact, my target weight is actually 78.5kgs.
Given that in the late summer my weight was 83.5, and this morning’s reading was 85.5, I can reckon on losing about 5~7kgs more.
That’s quite an ask at this point in the program. Even losing 5 last time was quite tough, though I was able to reach it at a stretch from 88.2~83.2kg.
With my weight at 85.5, I have to bring it back under control (gently) since the propensity in early winter is to consume calorie dense foods.
Of course, I can do that. But it’s hard to eat salad & fruit when it’s cold outside! The other factor in the lack of effective weight loss has been the running program. It kind of took over, and it’s been really beneficial and confidence building.
It has not been effective at weight control, not in the slightest. I don’t know why but it could be a coincidence of winter arriving.
