I completely surprised myself last night. The leg muscles are a little stiff this morning. But I managed to run 90s run/60s walk for most of the distance, except for extended warm up and cool off at the end.
I made it from almost a 5K. About 54 minutes in total. So def. slow af. So the running this week has been quite good.
I’m also pursuing a lower carb diet: giving up rice and pasta and noodles… but this week I added bread and potatoes to this list. Obviously this is not sustainable or particularly healthy or desirable. It’s only temporary, until I make a dent in my weight loss.
It didn’t stop me from celebrating on Friday with my usual “I made it to Friday!” ice cream!!! Figures in the image. My only concern is the rapid weight drop. Is it fictional due to the vagaries of my scale? Is it permanent due to the possibility of rapid regain? Whoa!
