I have a fairly simple electronic watch that tracks way too much data. So I don’t need to update my watch particularly. But when it’s tracking a routine, it can’t do double duty as a loop timer. I think the term is interval timer.

I’ve got a standard timer app with two timers set on my phone but I have to keep punching the timers manually each time they ring. It’s a pain as I sometimes miss or hit the wrong key to reset or stop the ringer (I’m moving… don’t particularly want to stop but would like to set up a rhythm that I don’t need to thinka bout too much).

Any suggestions on a loop timer app for Android that can help me do interval running at various intervals…?

I’d like to have several different sequences I can run through: eg.

1m walk/1m run repeat for x minutes

1m walk/4m run repeating for x minutes

I’m just at the stage where I need to reinforce these habits, and build regularity in running… but I can’t count steps (too confusing), distances can be too vague, but time seems to work for me because when the ringer interrupts the music… I know immediately to switch from running to walking or walking to running.

Tks.
