After yesterday’s exertions, I took a little bit lighter approach to my run today.
Didn’t quite manage 2K but it was 1m sandwiches after 200m warm up walk. I got to the Youbike pick up location quickly too quickly to hit the 2K mark, but in general for running’s sake, I might do running first then biking slowly, then walk to cool down.
This week’s training program:
- warm up,
- walk/run, starting at 2K then going to 3K.
- then bike, either 4K (short route) or 8K (long route)
- then cool down!
I will probably alternate on a tick-tock type training schedule this week, until I sort out a more successful solution to training for the next 4K. I managed to hit 26km/h briefly on a Youbike! Those things are heavy. Still haven’t paid the fees for the October race! Due tomorrow. Should I?
