So my original intention to run the 4K in September was to spur myself to lose another 4kgs, which quickly became 5kgs after the Japan trip.
I honestly don’t know if it will help, but we’ll assess after the October run. It’s a long enough period to know whether it’s achieving (for me) the objective of losing kgs.
Here are some of the other events I’m thinking of:
September 7th – Taipei ‘Beauty’ Evening Run: 4K
I’m only doing the 4K… and if the current rate is to be believed, I’ll be walking most of it.
????? – 2024 Taipei Beauty Evening Run ????????????? (lohasnet.tw)
October 19th – Maokong Night Trail
There are a couple of options but I’ll probably do a 6K run OR hike. Not sure yet.
November 16th – Dark Horse Marathon 4K
There is no way I can try the longer ones. Even 10K is too long. So… if I do this one, it’ll be the 4K.

December 7th – ADA Taipei City Construction Forum Run 12K or 3K
I’m undecided about the last two. The short distance will almost certainly be too short, but the long distance will be out of reach (and probably bad for my knees). So it’ll be the 3K AFAIK.
