Well, truth be told, I never expected to lose weight going to Japan. I mean, rice & noodles every day! What would you expect? But it seems I put on about 2kgs. I’m still trying to determine my actual weight right now.
So it’ll be a couple of days before I know the result. I’m assuming a starting weight of 83.6 and current weight of 85.6 for today’s post.

Walking just doesn’t burn enough calories, and Japanese food is quite calorie dense and low fiber. So I wonder how Japanese remain so thin! I guess they’re not eating out every meal, though!
Moderation in all things: I’ll go back to what I was doing before, and the excess should moderate over a couple of days. Then I’ll restart my 80.0kgs plan.
It’s a salutary reminder that if you don’t exercise continual control, the weight will just pile on again. Remember, diets are not diets. They’re life plans so choose accordingly. Eat accordingly. Exercise accordingly. You cannot indulge every day and live without consequences.
Sunday I registered 85.2kgs on the scale. I wonder about tomorrow!
