The image had quite a weird color cast on it. I finally figured out how to remove some of it, it was probably due to the lighting in the room. Also, the shutter speed on the camera was quite slow meaning that the original image isn’t so sharp because of the poor lighting, higher ISO and s1/40.
At f1.8 the facial features should be quite sharp but they aren’t. So I’ve sharpened it a little (sharpening is a double-edged sword because it adds lines and makes people look older) but also softened some parts.
I used a couple of features that I hadn’t seen in older versions of LR.
… and I was surprised I could also use the tool in ‘masks’.
