Yeah… I actually think Google results are poorer these days. I’ve started using Duckduckgo more because it’s kinda like what G. used to be.
The changes Google has made like dropping the use of ” and ” has muddied their results. I would rather Google gave me nothing so I could try again than they try to ‘guess’ what I’m looking for.
Duckduckgo seems to offer what Google used to. This is a search I did for a question I had about instant mashed potatoes. I ran it in Duckduckgo, Bing and Google because my default Google had failed to provide a relevant answer.


Bing Results also nailed the query.

However, Google muddies the results with Instant Pot recipes, mashed potatoes recipes that are NOT instant, and a few other random tries. Google didn’t nail the search result but tried & failed to guess what I was looking for. Sucks to be Google.
