The options here are mostly soy-based. Cheese is an imported rarity, though enough of the fake cheese is sold, you’d think no one was intolerant. Real cheese, as we know it… yeah, not so much. Very much a niche product.

Coconut/oat yogurt is a niche of a niche, too. Dependent on trends in the market place, and plenty of brands are filled with sugar, etc. Disgusting! The one I had last week was absolutely disgusting. So high prices, low availability, unstable supply which are also hallmarks of the quality cheese market here, too. Of course, would you consider it even ‘cheese’?
