So I’m reading about mini-PCs, and I’m interested in purchasing one at some point. HOWEVER, I’m not about to buy a pair of women’s shoes! Since when did advertisers completely ignore the content on the page? It’s really quite ridiculous to see unrelated ads on a page. Look!

Do the advertisers somehow assume that because I’m interested in a small-sized PC, that somehow that means I have small feet? Or I’m interested in women’s styles? Or I’m buying shoes for my wife? Or… WHY???

When I browse sites about fashion, show me fashion ads. When I browse PC sites, show me PC stuff! You’re much more likely to get my click!

This is why I prefer ads that are directly related to the content of the website: I mean who wants to see ads promoting shoes next to articles about cooking…? Geez.
