I spent much of September bringing my August excess under control. But since I started the 90 day diet… I looked at the stats: grinding the wheels!!! That’s all. The initial weight loss after contracting flu was around 1.5kgs. But I put most of that back, of course.
So I started looking at what made the March to May period successful and I noted several things that I haven’t started doing this time around:
- Exercising twice a day or even three times
- Increasing the amount of exercise per day
- More steps
- More resistance training
I still try to practice limited time eating but invariably dinner is too late. I probably also eat too many carbs. But back in March, I probably didn’t care too much about what I ate. As long as I don’t eat too much, and occasionally have a light lunch… I should be fine. So I’m not going to count the calories other than to be aware of what I’m consuming.
It’s interesting to realize that all my successful weight loss was due to that extra difference in effort. Marginal efforts produced outstanding results! So… now I know I gotta do more!
