I have a great page on Indian coffee, but after attending a recent exhibition, I discovered that the information is quite incomplete. So I’m now going to add extra information… that I may put on another related page.

However, I have also got a very nice interview with a gentleman promoting the coffee of India. It’s nearly 1000 words… and I’m flummoxed. Do I extend the original page with this interview or do I make a new page?

I have three clear choices (and one bad one):

1. Create a separate page for the article/interview. I’m not keen to do that but I will if I have to. I’d like to boost the profile of the original page (above).

2. Extend the page as needed by having two or three ‘sections’ to the page. It would be very long, though, so I might have to add extra navigation.

Intro … Content… Interview.

3. Or add pagination and make one page become three (conceivable as it will likely run to 2000 words in total). Pagination would be indian-coffee-pg1.html/…pg2.html/…pg3.html.

4. (not viable) replace the original content with the interview on the same keyword page. The only downside to that is that the information in the interview would be even less complete than the original article!

What would you do? How would you deal with a potentially superlong page?
