I’ve had people ask me what I was trying to prove by keeping my swimming trophies on display. I tell them that it’s my right and my privilege. Trophies are tangible proof that, for that one moment in time, you were the best. They serve as a permanent reminder of the hard work and determination you have dedicated to the sport.
