If you’ve ever sat through a long gospel service and had your bum ache on the 19th century hard wood chairs church is not an experience that would endear your nether parts to your heart!
Perhaps a softer chair would help! And yet, in many churches in Scotland, comfort of the bum is considered not even second to the Word being preached! So I contend: that a happy bum makes a happy heart!
