Inflation seems to be setting in with higher prices for almost every commodity. I have seen rises in pump prices, food, gold, tickets, … are we in for a bout of serious inflation?

That I would suspect is the case: with the recession came ‘quantitive easing’ which was designed to ease our way through the downtimes. The result: it perked up a lot of prices, esp. in emerging markets.

I guess that even things like ‘ink jet refills’, best wrinkle creams, and less than every day items will soon see rising prices, too. Best to buy them before they become too expensive!
