Teachers in our school use ink stamps to award students extra points for good work, homework, quizzes and so on. These are then exchanged for happy cards. And happy cards can be used to buy small ‘gifts’. It’s a common way to buy a few things for yourself or your brother or sister. We have happy card millionaires, those kids who refuse to trade their cards, but save and save. It’s a lot of fun.

The teachers’ stamps are either traditional or modern, but the modern ones tend to break quickly in the hands of the kids! It’s quite surprising the kind of testing they can do. So I prefer to use more traditional ones, but those are really messy!
