With all those gadgets around me, mobile phones, portable MP3 players, netbooks, etc. I often wonder about the batteries that they incorporate into their body. With some designs, it’s easy to change the battery. But others not so, like iPods and iPhones. Either way, the devices can become damaged, and so can the batteries.
One or two reports have surfaced of customers being injured by exploding devices, and batteries have leaked over their skin. In those cases, you may wish to see injury lawyers in your state/country to find out what recourse you have if you are injured by one of these exploding devices.
So far, I’ve been spared, but recently I got unnerved when my N79 started to get VERY hot. I was told it was normal, and sure enough the phone had been running a program for a while. Get informed about what is normal, so you can determine whether you have a problem or not. Companies do recall devices from time to time to prevent injuries. You need to know what is going on! So becareful! Be informed.
