A couple of days ago, I was looking at one of the sinks in the bathroom at school, and wondering if it would fall off the wall.
You may laugh, but there have been dozens of reports in Taiwan of kitchen sinks falling off the wall for a variety of reasons. Of course, when the ceramic sinks land on the floor, they crack into a plethora of pieces and the kids are usually hurt.
We prefer the typical undermount sink which is much safer than typical sinks though it is more usual to put it in the kitchen. But in the bathroom we have no choice at the moment without renovating the entire bathroom. Since the building is rented, it’s an investment that will not be made by us.
So in the meantime, we need to keep an eye on the children’s behavior and make sure that they play safely.
