Fashion choices in Taiwan often seem a little odd to westerners. Women wear clashes of colors that we wouldn’t consider as viable together. Occasionally you will see women wearing thigh high boots or knee length boots with short skirts even when the weather is warm, and it isn’t particulalry rainy. This is despite claims that boots are for winter.

Other common fashion faux pas include: letting bra straps show, wearing flip-flops in the street, showing your butt in low-risers, and so on…

Don’t get me started on the men, though! Most of them don’t even rank as fashion victims… And me! I’m very untrendy… I used to have NO interest in clothes, who knows what I wear now…
