When California Fitness finally opened in Taipei, I jumped to become a member … it came at the right time in my diet as I was trying to cut my weight and improve my lifestyle…

In stage one, I simply skipped to a lower calorie, lower fat diet and lost about 4kg. Then in stage 2, I added exercise as the vital ingredient, and moderated my diet. I then lost another 4kg. Starting at 91kgs, I managed to knock off about 8kgs.

I had a friend who was using some bodybuilding supplements to help him, but I didn’t know if it was a good idea or not. I did see the value in vitamin supplements, but protein milk shakes, and other supplements… well, I was lost. I had no idea what was a good deal or what would benefit me… I didn’t want to look like Arnold… I didn’t think that was attractive…
