Art knives are a staple piece of equipment even though we are a language school. Most of the time the knives are small and ideal for slicing paper.

Occasionally, though, we sometimes need a bigger knife, to hack through paper and cardboard, a real box cutter or Stanley knife as they are called in the U.K.!

It’s just that using box cutters is quite freaky… Really, there you are poised to slice through several layers when the thought comes to mind: what if I slice through my fingers at the same time? Using a box cutter requires clear lines, strength, dexterity, and … confidence!

So far, I’ve never cut my fingers with box cutters, but I’ve had more accidents with scissors and kitchen knives!
