I’ve long been a fan of Toastmasters.org, and in fact was a member for more than two years. I never completed the basic course, but I did find the skills that I learned useful. That was great for me to learn communication skills, leadership skills, and public speaking skills! So hiring a professional speaker could be a smart move! Mark Hughes, former CEO of Half.com spent his life in marketing, and garnered some wonderful business wisdom, esp. where dollars are scarce.
